Lemon Icebox Pie

The South is synonymous with outstanding cuisine.  Plenty of desserts, such as bananas foster and doberge cake, developed in this region and remain popular to this day.  One such dish is Lemon Icebox Pie.  If you’re not familiar with this treat, it’s a tasty, bake-less dessert typically served cold during those hot summer months.  The name refers to the iceboxes these pies were stored in before refrigeration and electricity were common, household conveniences.
